LEED Fellows are best-of-the-best in green building design, engineering and development

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (October 16, 2017) – Rivion has announced that Al Skodowski, Principal, has been named a 2017 LEED Fellow by the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI). This year’s 23 Fellows are being honored for their outstanding work as LEED Professionals and for the significance of their contributions to the green building community and LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the world’s most widely used green building rating system. LEED Fellows are recognized as the most exceptional professionals in the green building industry, and it is the most prestigious designation awarded from GBCI.

To be selected, LEED Fellows are nominated by their peers, must have at least 10 years of exceptional impact in the green building industry, hold a LEED AP with specialty credential and undergo an extensive portfolio review, among other requirements. The evaluation process is carried out by the LEED Fellow evaluation committee.

The recipients will be honored at the 2017 USGBC Leadership Awards Luncheon at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo taking place Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 in Boston .
