Part 2 of our series on Mindful Sustainabilty . . .

Uncomplicating Sustainability

I’m just going to say it. Sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated. The basic principles are very simple; Be mindful in your purchasing. Be mindful in your use of resources. Be mindful in how you dispose of resources when you are through with them. Let’s be honest. These are not new concepts. Many generations before us lived by these principles as a rule. But as we became more prosperous, we became lazy and took our eye off the finish line. More disposable income, more free time and more mobility translated into more people wanting more conveniences and more stuff, with little thought about the consequences. And, here we are today, wringing our hands about what to do. The concepts are simple, so let’s keep the solutions simple. It’s time to get back to the basics. And everyone can do it. Engage that grey matter and put more thought into what you buy, what you consume and how you dispose of it. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish with just a little bit of thought and effort. Let’s talk about how we can help you apply mindful sustainability.
